Project Goal: To develop and design a trendsetting line of high-quality apparel for CityPickle's pro-shop, staying ahead of fashion trends and forecasting the future of pickleball style.
My Role: I joined CityPickle as their first hire as the Marketing Manager, working closely with the founders to launch their inaugural Hudson Yards pop-up court.
I then transitioned to the role of Pro-Shop Designer, where I spearheaded the creation of over 40 unique apparel and accessory items for the CityPickle pro-shop. I collaborated with a renowned merchandise manufacturer (who also produces for Lululemon, SoulCycle, Sporty & Rich, and Barry's Bootcamp) to produce high-quality, custom-designed apparel that resonates with the stylish New York City audience.
Highlight: One of the most rewarding aspects of this project was collaborating with Elyce Arons, co-founder and CEO of Frances Valentine (and co-founder of Kate Spade), and our CityPickle co-founders to design a custom CityPickle x Frances Valentine pickleball bag. This partnership exemplifies the brand's commitment to quality and style.
