The Yard Branding, Merch and Mural Design

My Role: As the ongoing graphic and branding designer for The Yard, I work closely with the marketing manager and owner to develop and execute a wide range of design initiatives, including:

Brand Refresh: Updated the existing logo with a modern, minimal aesthetic, applied across all branding materials.

Digital and Print Design: Created social media graphics, email newsletters, in-house posters, banners, and signage, maintaining a consistent brand identity.

Illustration: Developed original "mascot" illustrations (protein shake, kettlebell, weighted plate) and pennant illustrations to enhance the brand's visual language.

Apparel Design: Designed over 6 unique shirts featuring the logo, slogans, and custom illustrations.

Mural Design: Created the design for a 30-foot mural, which was then brought to life by a professional artist.
Results: The rebrand has successfully established a cohesive and contemporary visual identity for The Yard, enhancing their online and in-person presence. The custom illustrations and apparel have been particularly well-received, contributing to a stronger sense of community and brand recognition.

Highlight: Conceptualized and developed the ongoing "Six Week Barbell Basics" class series, which has become a popular and successful recurring program, further solidifying The Yard's commitment to providing comprehensive fitness training.
